For over 40 years, the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic has been offering trauma-informed legal, counselling, and interpretation services to marginalized and racialized populations of women and gender-diverse people who have survived violence. The Clinic is the only non- profit organization in Ontario that offers three comprehensive services under one roof. At the Clinic, we are committed to ending all forms of gender-based violence. We consistently witness and respond to increased service demands. Since 1985, more than 160,000 women and gender-diverse people have contacted us for help. Whether a woman seeks counselling, legal, or interpretation services, we are committed to being there for those in need. We strive to eliminate the conditions that put women and gender-diverse individuals at risk of violence.
