SeedChange (formerly USC Canada) is a non-profit founded in 1945 by Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova, rooted in the principles of human dignity and equality. We work with farmers in Canada and around the world to strengthen their ability to grow food sustainably using locally adapted seeds. We focus on supporting the rights and leadership of women, youth, and Indigenous farmers, and on advancing climate solutions.
